classes are designed to help you thoroughly learn your Bernina.
These classes may be taken in any order and they are free if
you purchased your machine from us. You'll make a great sample/reference book for years of use. Free with machine purchase or $35 each class plus the kit fee. (You pay only a one time
$15 kit fee which includes fabrics.) Please print out the appropriate pages for your class. You may call if you have any questions.

This weekend workshop is designed to help you familiarize yourself with your new Bernina 830. You will make a laptop cozy for your computer while exploring some of the new features of this beautiful machine.We'll explore bobbin work, programming memory, and using the sewing stitches in embroidery to name just a few fun things. Bring your machine and embroidery module with you on Friday and leave it for the next day's class. This class is free if the machine was purchased from us. If you purchased your machine elsewhere, the fee is $195. Please call quickly because this class is limited to 8 students per class.

This weekend workshop is designed to help you familiarize yourself even more with your Bernina 830. Try new fun techniques while making this sampler showcasing things your machine can do such as taking sewing stitches, programmed memory sequences and buttonholes into the embroidery mode. Learn how to embroider buttonholes-evenly spaced-using just your machine! Most supplies are included.

Embroidery Basics

Learn about stabilizers, needles and threads used for embroidery. Get good results on all your embroidery when you understand the effects of stabilizing and proper hooping. This class is the perfect beginning place. This class is free if the machine was purchased from us.

Serger Mastery

You're going to love sewing with your serger! Come to this class and see for yourself how easy it can be and how much time you can save! In the first class we wil cover the basic stitches using two, three, and four threads. In the second class we will learn the cover and chain stitches. If you do not have a serger with the cover stitch you will only need to take the first class. If you have the 009DCC you need to take only the second class. The class is free if the machine was purchased from
us. If you have the 1300MDC serger go to the "Machines" tab, scroll down the page to the "Serger Stitch Chart " and print them out. I think you will find these very helpful.

Designed especially for kids aged 8-12 this class teaches basic sewing
skills while they make several useful and cute projects. Snacks are provided as are most supplies. Sign up early as class size is limited.

Teens and their friends will enjoy learning to sew while making projects suited for them. They'll love making their own "one of a kind" accessories such as a cell phone case, journal cover, zippered pouches and other fun projects. Most supplies are included for this class.
