Zip-N- Grip by Sew Yours

The Zip-N-Grip is the ultimate accessory for storing all of your essentials. It can be used as a cosmetic or toiletry bag or a bag to store and carry your art or sewing supplies.

I would call this an advanced beginner or intermediate skill level because of the challenge of adding a zipper pull and sewing one side closed. It does require a little bit of binding on the inside but that is sewn on in one step.

You can use vinyl, quilt cotton or a lightweight canvas. My suggestion is to use a quilt cotton for your first bag. The minimal fabric and hardware required make it perfect for gifts or selling at craft shows.

Class time: July 29 1- 4 pm Cut fabrics and interfacing. Prep work including fusing interfacing, and marking placement lines, etc. If time allows we will sew the handle and handle connectors.

July 30 10:30 - 4pm Sewing the components of the bag, adding the zipper and the final assembly.
